Dr. Jee Hoon Ha, D.D.S., is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon recognized for his expertise in oral & maxillofacial surgery, dental implants, and medical esthetics. Dr. Ha is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. His clinical scope includes anesthesia, general surgery, plastic surgery, and head and neck surgery, all completed during his residency at New York Medical College / Westchester Medical Center in New York City.
His academic journey began in engineering, earning a Bachelor of Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering – Computer Networks from the University of Southern California. Before transitioning to dentistry, he conducted artificial-intelligence research in Tokyo, Japan, and later contributed to bone and dental 3D-imaging research at UCLA, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Ha maintains active affiliations with multiple medical centers, including Long Beach Medical Center, Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach, St. Joseph Hospital Orange, Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, and the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Institute Los Angeles.
He holds a General Anesthesia Permit, an Elective Cosmetic Surgery Permit, and full certification to practice Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Ha was born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in Rolla, Missouri, giving him a multicultural upbringing that shaped his curiosity and adaptability.
